Hello and welcome to Inside the Training Room! My name is Rebekah Thompson, and I am from Gypsum, KS. I graduated from Emporia State in the Spring of 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and Minors in Physical Education and Health. I passed my Board of Certification the summer following graduation while interning in Surprise, Arizona for the Kansas City Royals Rookie League team. Currently, I am pursuing a Masters of Science in Health, Physical Education, and Coaching at Emporia State University. I am passionate about athletic training, as I love sports atmosphere and the opportunity to help athletes return or continue to perform at their highest level in the sport they love. A fun fact about me is that I ranked 16th in the nation in women's collegiate disc golf in 2023 after only playing the sport for six months.
